I came back from my one week trip to our customers in Germany and Switzerland. It was very interesting and I was happy to meet our partners from 7 companies we work for. I enjoyed our discussions about projects and future. Also about life and sports. It was really nice.

But to visit all of them I had to make almost 3.000 km by car. It was more stressing than all these meetings together. I felt like a truck driver – 5 days in a car. And here are my thoughts. After first 150 km of Polish highways with little traffic I came to Germany with their great highways with no speed limit, 3 lanes and lots of cars. If you tried to keep the speed of 130 km/h you were either to fast because of thousands of trucks or to slow because of thousands of Mercedes and Porsches driving 200 km/h. I had to be concentrated more than during my most difficult exam on my University. It was terrible

Then I entered to Switzerland.Speed limit of 120 km/h. No traffic jams, everyone using his cruise control, no one was faster than me, no one was slower. No stress, no traffic jam, just a quit and easy trip. It was amazing! I was enjoying the time and beautiful landscapes of Switzerland.

And again, on my way home I had to drive via Germany. 200 km/h, traffic jams and all the stories. Terrible.

So, if you ask me, whether I support speed limit on the highways – the answer is obvious for me: of course!
